Our call is to serve in Mozambique together with our prayer and financial partners, in order to fulfill the Great Commission (Mathew 28: 19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." ?

Elvio Malawene

Elvio Malawene, gave his life to Jesus Christ in October 2007. After many years of being involved in the Christian church, he finally realized the importance of following Christ.
For the past two years, we have invested in Elvio’s life and now we have begun to see the fruits of our labor. Elvio has become one of our most trusted and faithful leaders. He has a passion to help others walk with Christ in an intimate way.

In July of 2009, Elvio, along with other core leaders of our group received some training from Africa’s Young Life organization. Elvio took the training he received and began a discipleship program for young people in the inhambane and Maxixe’s region.

Elvio is attending the Universidad Sagrada Familia in Maxixe, Inhambane and has become a distinguished student in the University

Lina Masique

Lina is a committed girl, who loves Jesus and loves to evangelize.

Lina comes from well-known Christian family. Her grandfather was one of the oldest ministry in Cambini, Masinga in Mozambique.

Her natural leadership is amazing; she began to attend our bible studies and a few months later offered to use her mother’s house for whatever we needed. This gracious commitment of hospitality allowed us to develop a large bible study consisting of over 20 young people.
Lina has used her testimony to influence the lives of many young people. The parents of these young people have also been touched by her influence that now Lina’s mother Margarida, leads a bible study for the parents.

We have many powerful stories of Lina’s influence in the community. One that comes to mind happened in the summer of 2008, when one of Lina’s friends decided to dedicate her entire summer vacation to evangelize her community based on the influence that Lina had in her life.

Lina finished High School this year and will dedicate this coming year to evangelize and disciple new believers in her neighborhood.

What We Are Doing

We will be working with Young Life to provide opportunity to every person to meet Jesus Christ and follow Him. We will do this by developing young people spiritually, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.

Young Life?s current ministries include camps and clubs. It is our desire to , be involved in community programs, sports, arts team ministries in High schools, as well as Universities. We also will do orphan care, community Bible Studies and prayer meetings

Our Prayer Needs

Find people of peace in Beira and vicinities
Develop a strategy, which will impact every young person’s value system.
Ask God to break the bonds of ancestral worship that hold this nation in spiritually slavery and bondage
Ask for God’s grace and favor with the principals of the Beira’s and Inhambane Universities
Pray for a solution in the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
For God's provision in regards to financial support
Increased effectiveness of partnerships with churches as more youth are reached through community programs.

Our Stategy

Pray and organize prayer teams. ? Ephesians 6:18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, is on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints. Establish prayer walks, this is a strategy we are doing since our arrival to Mozambique.

Our Goal

Our goal is to bring young people to the feet of Christ in a loving and caring way. We will disciple and train the indigenous leaders to spread the good news and reproduce other leaders.

Our Mission

We will strive to preach the gospel to every person in Mozambique. With a life expectancy of only 45 years old, our mission is to create a relevant gospel centered approach to reaching hundreds of young people for Christ.
